It’s lining up to be a stormy week in Lake Tahoe, CA.  NOAA is calling for 2-6″ of snow on Easter Sunday, then another 6-12″ of snow on Tuesday.  There is the potential for up to 18″ of snow up high between Sunday and Tuesday.  Most likely won’t be much snow down to lake level.

NOAA Sacramento, CA:

A low pressure system dropping out of the Gulf of Alaska will send a series of weather disturbances across the north state this weekend and early next week. The first impulse will bring rain and mountain snow to norcal on Saturday night and Sunday. Another system will bring another round of rain and mountain snow Monday through Tuesday. The main impacts will be slick roads with mountain snow and possible chain controls higher elevations.
