Stubai Glacier ski resort in Austria kicked it off by opening last friday. Since then more ski resorts have opened up in the Alps… and some just stayed open. Some of these resorts, like Schnalstal-Val Senales, simply stay open year round.
If you’re in the Alps, you’ve got some high quality choices for skiing right now. All of these ski resorts are offering skiing on glaciers with a bit of the new snow that has fallen this year. **note: Gletscher = Glacier.

Love it! I’ve ski’d at some of those. Don’t forget Stryn glacier in Norway. There you can ski during the summer too.
Time to move to the alps. If you live there, you can never bitch about snow. it’s year round.
