Utah is sneakily piling up the snow.  Piling it up.  It’s to the point now where people are skiing Alta, Snowbird, and Little Cottonwood Canyon everyday.  We haven’t heard a single bad report from LLC yet.
It’s now looking like that the coverage is in.  This video from yesterday shows guys simply full-on powder skiing.  No holds barred.  It looks soft, it looks deep, it looks fun.
If you’re skiing backcountry this fall, be careful.  There have already been 2 avalanches at Alta and we all know that hidden objects under the snow can be very damaging to human beings.  Bring your avy gear, your avy knowledge, and your helmet.
