It’s crazy to think spring is already here in Argentina. Â The trees are flowering, birds are chirping everywhere, and green leaves are unfurling.
We had a big snowstorm last week that delivered 8 days of great powder skiing. The backcountry has been incredible the past 7 days.
Temperatures have been getting warmer each day since the storm with today being quite toasty.  We’ve had just enough freeze-thaw cycles now to develop some good corn at this point.
Today, you could rip hard on any part of the mountain. Â There was no one at the hill and the Mothership, Nubes chair, once again proved its meddle. Â Cranking laps on Nubes all day is enough to make anyone exhausted. Â Nubes did not disappoint today.
The freeride terrain off Nubes was fun today.  Smooth, corny, soft, slushy, and fast.  The best part, is after you rip through the rocks, you can then roll into the park and hit three medium-sized jumps.
The boys in the park were throwing down today. Â 720s, rodeo 5s, backflips, 360s, and all kinds of grabs. Â It was a great show.
The forecast is showing a bit of storminess the rest of the week. Â We’re hoping for a refresh.
