The body of Dr. Jonathan Torgerson was located on Saturday, May 12th. Search and rescue found the body at around 11am in an avalanche deposition zone on the north side of Whitefish Mountain Resort, according to KRTV Montana. Warming temperatures and a K9 search team were key factors in finding the body.Torgerson went missing last February at Whitefish Mountain Resort. He was last seen on February 17th skiing alone near the “Flower Point” area of the mountain. Whitefish Mountain Resort had received approximately 400 inches of snow this year and they average around 300 inches per year.
