At the Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix, the French just installed a new glass structure called the Chamonix Skywalk.  It was inspired by the Grand Canyon’s glass skywalk.  But the Chamonix Skywalk takes this idea to next level by making the floor transparent.  Visitor feel as if they are hovering 3,396 feet above the valley below.  1/2″ glass surrounds visitors as they hang out above Chamonix and test their fear of heights.

The skywalk will open to the pubic on December 21st, 2013.

  1. obviously like your web site but you need to take a look at the
spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many
of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to inform the
truth nevertheless I’ll certainly come again again.
