Buenos Aires, Argentina FREAKING OUT After World Cup Win | Photos & Video:

Argentina.  It’s a mysterious land.  It’s a land of snow and skiing and Patagonia and penguins and the longest mountain range on Earth.  Hell, they even have the tallest mountain in the world outside the Himalayas (Aconcagua at 22,800 feet).

Now, they have a World Cup Finals team as well.  This is big, real big.  And they know it.  The swelled into the streets of Buenos Aires and partied hard after their World Cup win last night.  They beat the Dutch in the a shoot out last night after a 0-0 final score.

I can guarantee you that this was one helluva good party in Buenos Aires last night!  And trust me, Argentines know how to party.  I’m very jealous I wasn’t there.  Just imagine what will happen if they win it all on Sunday…

Last night’s win brings Argentina up against Germany for the final game of the 2014 World Cup.  This will be the 3rd time that Argentina and Germany will meet in the finals.  So far, they’ve split their World Cup Finals meetings with Argentina beating Germany in 1986 and Germany beating Argentina at the next World Cup in 1990.

Argentina has won the World Cup twice before in 1978 and 1986.  Ze Germans have won it thrice as West Germany in 1954, 1974, and 1990.  This will be Argentina’s 5th time to the World Cup finals including the inaugural World Cup in 1930.  This will be Germany’s 8th time to the World Cup Finals.

Germany has a pretty strong skiing and snowboarding history as well.  It’s just not as sexy as Argentina.
