The 2014 Sochi, Russia Winter Olympics have come to a close. There were some fantastic moments and more than just a few heartbreaking ones. Athletes from Lake Tahoe pulled in 4 Olympic medals this year (3 golds, one bronze) alone.
The US of A brought home 28 medals at Sochi (9 gold, 7 silver, 12 bronze) putting us in 4th place overall. Not bad. At the Vancouver Winter Games, the USA brought home 37 medals putting us in 1st place overall.
