Jackson Hole has gotten 71″ of snow since they closed in early April.  The Tram opens tomorrow for the summer and yes, skis and snowboards are allowed on the Tram.

Here are all the details from Jackson Hole:

The Jackson Hole Tram Crew has been working hard to get the Aerial Tram ready for opening day of the summer season…which is tomorrow! Based on the views at the top, you wouldn’t guess that it’s summer- 71 inches of snow has accumulated in Rendezvous Bowl since the resort closed on April 5th.  A little bit of snow has never stopped us before, so we’re kicking off summer this Saturday, May 23rd by opening the Aerial Tram, Corbet’s Cabin (mmmm waffles), Jackson Hole Sports, Nick Wilson’s Cowboy Café, and The General Store.   Come June, many more activities and restaurants will be opening, so be sure to check www.jacksonhole.com for updates.

Digging out the walkway to Corbet’s Cabin and making snow stairs to the summit.

Join us in Teton Village this weekend to kick off the summer in style. Rent a bike, cruise around the pathways, grab a snack, and check out our mountaintop winter oasis in the middle of summer. Feel free to bring your skis or board but remember, no skiing inbounds.  See you at the top!
