Latest CA Storm Raises Lake Tahoe 1.92″ and Boosts Tahoe Snowpack to 121% of Average

Just this past storm raised Lake Tahoe by 1.92″ equaling 64 billion gallons of water.

Lake Tahoe’s snowpack rose from around 83% of average to 121% of average with this storm.  Statewide snowpack is at 111% of average to date.

Kirkwood just got 37″ of snow from this storm and is closed today due to avalanache danger.

El Nino rocks.
