NOAA’s Forecast for March 2014 in the USA

NOAA has released its forecast for March 2014 for the United States of America.  The West in general, is looking warm, as it has been so far this March.  Idaho, Eastern Washington, Wyoming, Utah, and Montana are being targeted for above average precipitation.

The above graphic is showing that NOAA is forecasting above average temperatures in most of the Western USA.  This is what we’ve been experiencing so far this March.  It was 72F in Sacramento, CA yesterday.

The above graphic is showing above average precipitation for: Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.  Jackson Hole is already having an unreal season with 422″ of snow this season and they average 450″.  Jackson is definitely going to end up with an above average snowfall season.
