NOAA just released their outlook for March 2015 for the USA this weekend.

This outlook is not what skiers and riders in the West were hoping for.  This outlook does not shout “Miracle March” at all…  This outlook offer any assistance to the historic drought in California…

What this forecast does show is continued snow and cold on the East Coast.  This outlook also looks good for Taos, New Mexico and Southwest Colorado.

NOAA's temperature forecast for March shows way above average temperatures for Alaska and the entire West. It show's below average temperatures for the Northeast and North central states.

Lets hope this outlook is wrong and that the West gets lots of cold and plenty of snow this March.  We’re still hoping for a Miracle March.
