Washington got hammered with snow last week.  Mt. Baker proper reportedly got about 13-feet of snow on its summit.  After reporting on that storm, we were really hoping people would let it settle, then get up there and ski it.

Jacob & Andrew did.  This video is of these guys skiing and riding in the North Cascades of Washington state on October 13th, 2013.  Coverage looks exceptional and conditions look fun, especially for early October.

Early cold weather and precipitation brought the first major snow storm to the northwest. An optimal day of sunshine lead to some amazing powder turns on October 4th in the North Cascades, couldn’t ask for much better of a day!Jacob & Andrew

The forecast for Mt. Baker proper right now is for 2-4 inches of snow today then more snow Thursday and more snow for the weekend.
