Well after some good days of recycled powder and hard charging resort laps the “winter storm advisory” finally happened! Not the huge dumps that hit further north, Tahoe and Jackson. But enough to stop me from thinking of mountain bikes, sunny days at the crag and what wearing shorts must be like. Instead had a wax party and got the boards and skis ready to play.  Snowing heavily all yesterday down to damn near sea level, Winter isn’t going on Spring Break.

Visability was limited and snow was heavy (PNW normal) so we stayed in some steep trees and open bowls with good run outs. My friends from the Freeride team whom had a busy weekend of comps meet up and we crushed pow our traversing legs were done. I felt good about eating a whole pizza afterwards.
