Snoqualmie Pass, WA just saw a record snowfall event of 117″ of snow in 7 days (Dec. 18-24, 2015) beating the old record of 102″ of snowfall in 7-days (Jan. 27-Feb. 2, 1990)

Snoqualmie Pass got 193.3″ of snow in December which broke their record for the snowiest December on record.

Snoqualmie Pass saw only 104″ of snow all of last season.

Alpental ski resort on Snoqualmie Pass currently has a 136″ deep snowpack near the summit.  It’s the 3rd deepest snowpack in North America.

“An incredible month of record breaking snow at Snoqualmie Pass this December! After only 104″ of snow all of last season, the Pass picked more than that amount up this year, in a 7 day period! It goes down as the snowiest December on record for the location, and the heaviest 7 day period on record.” – NOAA Seattle, WA yesterday
