A lot of storm systems this year have had relatively low snow levels, which has allowed extensive snow coverage throughout the entire mountain. Even though it seemed like November was a slow start to the ski season, December treated the Western US well. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort had the DEEPEST December in 40 years, which is a great sign as to what is to come throughout the 2016-17 winter. The West is expected to experience below average temperatures and above average snowfall, which should increase these numbers and we like that.
