Squaw/Alpine, CA will be open until 7-days per week until May 30th.  The last time we can remember this happening was 2006…  Is that right?

This is terrific news:

“We’ll have 7-day-a-week skiing at one of the two resorts, if not both.  We’ve got a 13-foot base … I’m standing outside, and it looks like full-on winter out here.  We have great coverage, and with 2 more months of skiing, we’re in a really good position.” – Liesl Kenney, public relations manager for Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows told the Sierra Sun today

In the good old days, Squaw kept the Big 5 (Granite, Mainline, Links, Shirley Lake, Tram) open until Memorial Day every year.  We’re stoked to see Squaw returning to that epic tradition.  Locals will LOVE this move.

Mt. Rose, NV will be open until May 23rd and Mammoth will be open until May 30th but will likely stay open well into June if not the 4th of July.
