Squaw Valley, USA is OPEN!

Squaw Valley ski resort in Lake Tahoe, CA is open for the 2014/15 winter season.  Right now, only Gold Coast and two runs are open.  But, there is a potential monster storm on the way this weekend that could drop up to 4-feet of snow on Tahoe…

If we get that monster storm, Squaw may be able to get a heckofa lot more open as soon as next week.  We’ll just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, we’ll all be out rippin’ groomer on Gold Coast and keeping our fingers crossed.

Alpine Meadows will open on December 12th, 2014.

Scheduled Lift, Trail & Activity Opening

Lifts: 9am-4pm

• Funitel with lift access to Gold Coast Express (no Mountain Run access)
• SnoVentures: First Venture chair
• Squaw Kids: Wiley Magic Carpet
• Tucker Carpet

Activities: 11am-4pm

• Snow Tubing at SnoVentures
• Ice Skating at High Camp

Aerial Tram: 9am-4pm, sightseeing with dogs on leash permitted

• The Arc: 10am-3:30pm

High Camp

• Silvey’s: 9am-3:30pm
• Bar North: 11am-3:30pm
