Sugar Bowl ski resort in Lake Tahoe, CA opened last weekend to give skiers and riders access to the 22 inches of blower powder they received last weekend.  Then then closed during the week only to reopen tomorrow for the 2013/14 winter season.

Last weekend, Sugar Bowl had the Lincoln, Disney, Nob Hill, and Christmas Tree lifts operating.  We’re guessing that operations will be about the same this weekend.

We were at Sugar Bowl last Saturday and it was pretty darned good (see above photo).  Keep your fingers crossed for more snow this weekend.  Sugar Bowl gets more snow than any other resort in Lake Tahoe, so this is where you’ll wanna come for pow.
