In skiing and riding, is there balance between the good and the bad?

Skiing and Snowboarding are incredible sports, but they do have their pitfalls.  Over time, these pitfalls become more and more apparent.  It’s not uncommon for one person to intimately experience both blades of this double-edged sword we call skiing and riding.  At some point, one has to sit down and weight the good verse the bad and measure where one lies.

There you have it without any of the sugar coatings.  The cons do seem to outweigh the pros, but that’s what makes these sports so magical.  When it all comes together, skiing and snowboarding are untouchable.

  1. I live in the mountains, away from the posers and unbelievable heavy traffic and would not change a thing about my ski bum lifestyle, my knees are wrecked but I’m not breathing all that smog and pollution. Haters are 100% jealous of my lifestyle.
Be glad most people don’t have the stamina to endure heavy winters and shoveling snow to get to the resort or work . It takes a special type of person to live in the mountains .

  2. And of course mommie n daddie put up the money for the down on the house…and yer bangin hot blondie sugar momma is gettin more haggard each year and nags u evry day cause shes tired of ur addiction to the life and always complains now of bein cold every wintah. So whats a brotha to do…??

  3. U wake up and you just turned 50, still have that shitty job, that old car, dont own a house, probably divorced, and “u say to yourself my god, what have I done!” But you’re in way better physical condition than most peeps ur age and have amazing memories of amazing experiences in the mountains and cant wait to do it again the following season.

Worth every decision of the past 30 years to get some of the goods. Hell yeah…

    1. The Smart ski bums save hard and work hard and purchase a house in their 20’s or 30’s and live mortgage free because they get a couple roommates to help out.

Then they are 50 and still have a shitty job, but you’re in great shape and other people paid for your house and you live comfortably and have a bangin hot blond sugar momma who got a real job…

      ahh, dreams….
