    El Nino has been good to California this winter:  

  • California’s current statewide snowpack is at 87% of average to date.  
  • Some ski resorts are reporting above average annual snowfall totals this year already.  
  • Shasta, Folsom, and Oroville reservoirs and above historical averages to date and Lake Tahoe is only 1″ below its natural rim and water experts are forecasting it to rise 16-18″ more this spring/early summer.

CALIFORNIA SKI RESORT SNOWFALL TOTALS:

  • Sugar Bowl = 557″
  • Boreal = 506″
  • Squaw Valley = 462″
  • Sierra at Tahoe = 456″
  • Northstar = 444″
  • Kirkwood = 435″
  • Mammoth = 342″
