According to JHMR, the tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort reopens on Saturday for the summer months. Despite the fact that skiing and riding inbounds while the resort is closed is strictly forbidden, the resort officials want skiers and riders to use the proper backcountry gates to access the mountains past the boundary for summer shredding. The 407″ that JHMR received throughout the winter season and more after will set a nice base for individuals that are looking to get some summer turns in. To add to the fun, Corbet’s Cabin will be open and serving up their world-famous waffles along with après beers to the summer shredders or site seers.

Adult tickets will cost you $37 and season pass holders will have free reign on the tram as long as they have their pass in hand. Should be a blast with plenty of snow to shred this Memorial Day weekend.

The Jackson Hole Tram:

  • Vertical Rise: 4,139 vertical feet
  • Ride Time To The Top: 12 minutes
  • Summer Advantages: Beautiful views and delicious waffles at Corbet’s Cabin
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm
  • Summer Tram Season: May 28th – October 9th, 2016

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort tends to provide exceptional summer skiing and as you can tell from this video, its totally worth it!
