Whistler opened for the 2013/14 winter season yesterday 12 days earlier than they had originally planned. Coverage looks good up there. It’s also clear from the videographic and photographic evidence that there was a bit of powder up there.
Whistler’s snowmaking is in full effect and they’ve gotten 5 inches of snow this week. This year so far, they’ve gotten 34 inches of snow and they currently have a base of 25”.
