Winter just won’t quite let go all the way in Tahoe.  1-3″ of snow is forecasted today above 7,500 feet in Lake Tahoe.  

"High mountain snow still
looks to be a possibility with 1-3 inches of wet accumulation
possible from around pass levels (7500 feet) and above, mainly
through the day Tuesday. Warmer air moving in behind the low on
Tuesday should bring quickly rising snow levels by Tuesday
evening, ending the potential for snow." - NOAA

It might be worth hiking up and skiing your favorite backcountry line if it’s still filled in after this little storm.  Or it might not be…

From the map below, it does look like somewhere up on Mt. Rose, NV could be worth a look.
