Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows‘ guests recently donated $43,235 to the Tahoe Fund and the Truckee Watershed Council through the Green Bucks Program.  Green Bucks is a program for guests to donate a $1 on transactions at their resort.  Squaw Valley’s donations came from lift ticket and season pass sales. The donations go towards the restoration of the Truckee River from Tahoe City to Alpine Meadows.

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows donates $40,000 annually towards restoring the Truckee River and Lake Tahoe. With the Green Bucks program, they have successfully restored four miles of the Truckee River and removed invasive weeds out of Lake Tahoe.
