Beartooth Pass (US-212) in Montana/Wyoming has been closed due to snow since yesterday morning at 6:45am. ย This is the second time Beartooth Pass has closed because of snow in 12 days.

IF ATTEMPTING TO TRAVEL ON THE WYOMING SIDE IT IS CLOSED COMPLETELY FROM LONG LAKE UP TO THE STATELINE. ROAD CONDITIONS ON MT SIDE ARE WET WITH SNOW FALLING ON TOP. CONDITIONS ON THE WYO SIDE ARE SNOW/ICE WITH HIGH WINDS EXPECTED TODAY.

Montana got all kinds of snow all over yesterday.
NOAA issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Montana that called for 4-8″ of snowย above 6,000′ on Sunday and Monday – but they also released a snowfall forecast map showing some spots forecast to see 8-12″ of snow.
Clearly, they were right.
