Rebounding from financial troubles, curtailed hours and a year-long operational hiatus, Edmonton Ski Club at Alberta Canada states it will reopen 2019/20 Winter thanks to volunteer and government aid.

In March, the centurion ski club benefited by a $1.1 million infusion courtesy of City of Edmonton alongside government of Alberta. Funding went toward repairs and upgrades, like purchase of a magic carpet.

An official opening date for the ski hill has not yet been set.

But, in a statement posted the previous week, the ski club did welcomed several new members to its board as well as express excitement for the coming 2019/20 Winter season.
