Conditions Report
Mammoth ski resort in California is the only ski resort still open and they got 12″ of snow overnight last night. Â There’s 8″ of snow in town.
It started snowing in town last night at about 5pm, dropped about 2 inches in town, and let off by around 8pm. Â We went to bed at 11pm with it still not really snowing and awoke at 6am to 8″ of snow on the deck.
Mammoth is in full on Spring operations right now and will be open today from 7:30am – 1:30pm, despite the new snow.
We haven’t heard any bombs yet, so we’re not sure that they’ll open Chair 23 (to the top) on time today, but we’ll see.
The forecast is for a bit more snow today then sun tomorrow.
