With her Japanese teammate and fellow X Games Big Air gold medalist Takeru Otsukawatching at the bottom, 13-year-old Kokomo Murase made history by putting down the first ever backside double cork 1260 in a women’s snowboarding final AND becoming the youngest snowboarder to ever win X Games gold in Big Air in Norway this weekend.

Kokomo Murase took the gold medal in Women’s Snowboard Big Air with two double corks: a 1080 and a contest-first 1260, at X Games Norway 2018.
