Soldier Mountain has been for sale since October 15th, 2015.  The sale went viral when the non-profit that ran Soldier announced that the ski area would be selling for only $149,000.  Soldier Mountain received 800 emails inquiring about the sale in the first 24 hours and over 2,000 emails in the first 72 hours.  Matt and Diane must be highly qualified buyers and great people if Soldier Mountain picked them from the pile.

They’re selling the ski area so cheap because they were given the resort by Bruce Willis in 2012 and they sold the ski area for merely the amount they owed on it which was exactly $149,000.  Their main goal was to sell the ski area to someone who would get the ski area open this winter since they didn’t have the funds to do so themselves.

Good luck, Matt and Diane!  You currently the envy of many.
