  • Snow-Forecast.com is forecasting up to 136cms (54″) of snow for Whistler’s alpine today through Tuesday.

  • Whistler’s website forecast is showing 41-70cms (16-28″) of snow for Whistler’s alpine today through Monday.

No, Canada doesn’t have a National Weather Service like we do in the States.  They have a thing called Environment Canada, that isn’t great.  This is why snow forecasts in Canada are spotty to say the least.  I’ve even talked to the patrollers at Whistler and they have to use a variety of websites to come up with their forecasts and they don’t have a ton of confidence in any of them.

We’re not exactly sure what’s going to happen at Whistler this week, but it sure as hell does appear it’s gonna snow quite a bit.  Get up there.
