According to Local Authorities, a novice skier died in Minnesota on Saturday after hitting a tree at a local ski resort. 19-year-old Bethany Becker of Corcoran, MN was skiing at Coffee Mill Ski Resort in Wabasha, MN on Saturday Afternoon. She was near the end of her run on Fall Line, when she lost control during a turn.
After she lost control, she struck a tree near the run. Sadly, Bethany passed away while emergency responders were transporting her to the hospital. At the time of the incident, she wasn’t wearing a helmet and she was on of the area’s most difficult runs.
