NOAA has issued two seperate Winter Storm Warning for Colorado this weekend. One in Southwest Colorado and Central Colorado. Some locations will see up to a foot of new snow.
NOAA has also issued several Winter Storm Watches and Winter Weather Advisories in Colorado for this weekend.
It’s going to be a very snowy weekend in Colorado. Only Arapahoe Basin is still open.
Heads up out there if you’re headed into the backcountry. We had two skiers caught in an avalanche this past week at Berthoud Pass, CO.
