Cool temperatures and rain will continue through Wednesday as the next weather system slowly moves through Idaho and western Montana. Snow levels will also lower to between 5000-6000 feet. Anyone planning to travel or spend time in the back country should prepare for winter-like conditions Tuesday through Wednesday morning. Conditions will improve on Thursday and temperatures will return to normal. – NOAA Missoula, MT
