What a Difference a Year Makes! 2018 v 2019 Snowpack at Monarch Mountain, CO

Check out a snapshot of this years’ conditions in June compared to how Monarch Mountain, CO looked last year. In what was an epic snowfall year, the resort extended their season thanks to 327″ of snow and a base that exceeded 100″.

At this time last year, the resort was already underway with construction projects seen in the lower picture. The snowpack in the Panorama basin would be even more untouched had they not conducted tree removal operations during the month of May.
