The Kentucky Derby... ugh
The Kentucky Derby… ugh

The Masters Golf Tournament, the Kentucky Derby, playoff hockey, basketball playoffs…  all heinous harbingers of the end of ski season.  These sporting events can truly disturb the hardcore skier or rider if not properly prepared.  How do you properly prepare for this challenging time of year, you ask?  By dragging yourself and a few good buddies to one of the ski resorts listed below.  These first few resorts below are dedicated to spring skiing.  Timberline never actually closes, Mt. Bachelor is open until the end of May along with Whistler, Arapahoe Basin, Snowbird, and Mammoth.

    1. Yep, it’s true. Just updated it. Thanks a ton. Crystal is a blast in the springtime.

  2. Alta is open tomorrow (5/2) through Sunday (5/4), it’s 3rd and final closing day of the season.

  3. Mt Hood Meadows – “we know we’re sitting pretty on a deep snowpack for our bonus days: May 2-4, May 9-11, and May 17.”
