Miles Clark has an obsession with skiing, and at 46 years old, he has almost accomplished everything he set out to achieve as a pro skier. Yet, for over a decade, he has had the idea of skiing 300 days in a single year. However, bad weather, conflicting schedules, and a lack of motivation to commit to such a feat have stopped him.
Until 2023.
After Miles’ mother passes away in January, he finds skiing to be the most natural way to confront his grief. An incredible snow year during that winter gave Miles an opening to achieve his decade-long goal to ski 300 days–a goal that felt stubborn and gritty, just like Miles’ mother.
Setting out on this feat takes Miles on an adventure that spans California, Utah, Wyoming, British Columbia, Alaska, Argentina, Chile, and Antarctica. During this process, he realizes that this is not the first time he has used the mountains to overcome terrible grief in his life. This connection inspires him to ski harder and push himself every single day to find meaning and value in his life.
300 explores Miles’ journey with grief, skiing, and how the two have shaped his entire life for decades.
