5 Tahoe Ski Resorts CLOSED Due To Big Wind and Rain Today | Up to 6 Foot Waves for Lake Tahoe

The wind is nuking in Lake Tahoe, CA/NV again today.  

It’s currently pouring rain in the Lake Tahoe basin.

Yesterday, big winds closed Squaw, Homewood, and Mt. Rose but the skiing on Roundhouse at Alpine was damn fun.

Up to 97mph gusts on the ridges today already and the the wind is forecast to increase throughout the day today.

Up to 125mph winds are forecast today:

Lake Tahoe is forecast to see 3-6 foot waves today.

• Alpine Meadows = 1 beginner lift only
• Sugar Bowl = 2 beginner lifts only
• Diamond Peak = 2 beginner lifts only
• Kirkwood = 9 lifts open…
