66-Year-Old Man Killed After 50-Foot Fall In Rocky Mountain National Park, CO On Saturday

According to Colorado Officials, a 66-year-old man died in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO on Saturday after a 50-foot fall. Henry Gholz of Fort Collins, CO was killed after he fell 50-feet while climbing Batman Pinnacle in the Lumpy Ridge area of the park. Witnesses performed CPR on Gholz until officials arrived.

When park rangers reached him, they continued to administer CPR on Henry, but their efforts were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was recovered by helicopter on Sunday.
