Warm temperatures and lack of snowfall plagued the start of the 2016-17 winter, but snow is in the forecast for the west and temperatures are dropping. As time goes, things are looking up and there are 7 ski resorts open in North America this week!

Arapahoe Basin opened for the season on Friday, October 21st, 2016.

Killington, VT opened for the season on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016.

Sunshine Village, Canada opened for the season on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016.

Mammoth Mountain, CA opened for the season on Thursday, November 10th, 2016.

Loveland Ski Area opened for the season on Thursday, November 10th, 2016.

Wild Mountain Ski Area, MN opened for the season on Saturday, November 12th, 2016.

Bretton Woods Mountain Resort opened for the season on Sunday, November 13th, 2016.
