With ski season on the doorstep and winter travel ramping up, Airbnb has released its list of the most-wishlisted ski-in/ski-out stays in the United States for 2025. The top properties range from modern mountainside homes in Truckee, California, to cozy cabins in Big Sky, Montana, reflecting a surge of interest in lodging that puts visitors just steps from the lifts.

According to Airbnb, these Guest Favorite listings are especially popular for their convenience and features geared toward après-ski comfort, including outdoor hot tubs, large decks, fireplaces, and EV chargers. The lineup spans several major ski regions, from California’s Tahoe area to Colorado’s high country and the northern Rockies.

Among the most-wishlisted properties are a luxury ski-in/ski-out retreat in Truckee, a modern slopeside home in Crested Butte, Colorado, a family-friendly cabin at Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, and multiple highly sought-after stays in Big Sky, Montana.

At the same time, Airbnb is seeing rising demand for what it calls “boutique base camps”—smaller, less-crowded towns that offer strong skiing without the steep price tags or competition found at major resort hubs. Trending destinations include Brighton, Utah; McCall, Idaho; and Dover, Vermont. These spots appeal to travelers seeking easier bookings, laid-back atmospheres, and often more affordable accommodations.
