An Alpine Meadows Ski School employee was found dead in his car at the resort on Tuesday.
Placer County authorities are investigating the death after Henry Irving Geldman, 25, of Berkeley, was found dead in his car in an Alpine Meadows parking lot. It appears Geldman fell asleep in his car during the recent snowstorms.
“Geldman’s death appears accidental at this time, but an official cause of death cannot be determined until our Coroner’s Office completes their investigation,” an official press release stated.
According to a resort spokesperson, witnesses said Geldman decided to sleep in his car instead of returning home.
