Alpine Meadows is the last ski resort open in Lake Tahoe.  While all the hardcore boys are down in the Eastern Sierras (more reports from there soon) the easy goin’ skier types got a treat today at Alpine.

The snow soften up at about 9am and stayed fun all day.  About 11am it got a little busy, then died down again after 1pm.

Plenty of sunshine, plenty of good music, and plenty of beer.  A high temperature of around 70 degrees today and tomorrow should be more of the same.

The band Grease Trap was playing funk and they were a good time.  They had people up dancing and little girls out hula-hooping.

The park was lookin’ good and a few of the boys were getting their last 720s and backflips out of their system.

Overall, it was a fun day with good friends and I think many of us there left a bit buzzed and sunburnt.
