Well, spring is here and Alpine Meadows or “The Meadows of Squaw” was open this past weekend and boy was it fun. Â The coverage is surprisingly good and AMJ’s are everywhere (All Mountain Jibs). Right off of locals favorite Summit Chair Express you can ski a nice little big mountain line right into the park.
I was skiing with Matt Bansak and Kirk Ditterich. Â Matt was ripping up every bump line in sight, it felt like I was skiing with Johnny Moseley for a couple runs. Â And Despite Kirks age he continues to show me up and a excellent finder of AMJ’s. Â Matt followed me into the park jump a couple of times and it only felt necessary to go upside down for the legendary Timy Backflips Dutton. Â Hope to see you all out there next weekend!

I saw that first jump as I was below the hit, and it was truly awesome! You guys got the stoke and make Alpine rock to the bitter end! Keep throwing it down for us and Timy.
