Areas of the Alps are experiencing heavy snow right now as Ullr continues to bless France and Switzerland.

Up to 2-FEET of fresh snow has fallen on ski areas over the last day or so. The storm is forecast to continue throughout the weekend, so by Monday, we could see resorts reporting well over 3-feet of beautiful, fresh powder.

And this is after a storm earlier in the week dumped almost 2-feet in 24-hours on the western Alps. Gstaad in Switzerland recorded 24″, and Lech in Austria reported 20″. Chamonix reported well over a foot, with most ski areas across the Alps getting at least 8″.

In what might possibly be the best start to a season for many years, many resorts are reporting base depths over 100″ already, thanks to the insane amounts of snow that fell throughout November.
