Sunday skiing marks Day 4 of the deep, the soft, and the fast at Alyeska Resort.

The front that, thankfully, wouldn’t quit.

The Thursday-arriving front enabled epic laps of previous fickle outer areas as well as generally ushered in Real Winter to the Last Frontier.

Stormbreak and total accummulation–at Sea Level.

In addition to Upper, Lower Mtn. groomed trails, Chilkoot Knoll (to Rudi’s) and High, Low Traverses were open today. Viz was consistent and tracks numerous, but the whistle-fast snow skied playfully.

It’s opening up out there and perma-smiles seem plentiful.

The lightning-like enhancement to Mount Alyeska snowpack, backed by an awesome up-coming events schedule, has got AK’s ski-crowd jumping for joy.

This is Paulie at Girdwood advising: get out and SKI!
