Unbelievable! Alyeska Resort in Alaska has already surpassed 400″ of snowfall for the season, and like last season is the first resort in North America to do so. 11″ in the previous 24hrs took them to 404″ as of this morning. Alyeska is currently reporting a 128″ base.

And there is snow in the forecast right through to the weekend. Could we see them break 500″ soon? The conditions are so good one of our powder-chasing editors is packing his bags and heading up there soon. Look out for the reports.

Alyeska has exceeded 500″ four times in the last ten years. Last year they reported 735″, in 2015/16 785″, 11/12 733″, and 10/11 581″.
