Making ski-industry history, the return of the first-ever Teacher Pass will offer all teachers K-12 one of the best full season ski pass discounts in the country. Angel Fire Resort, Northern New Mexico’s premier family vacation destination, announced the 2019-2020 Teacher Pass, a season pass for all teachers K-12 nationwide is now available at the heavily discounted price of just $99.
The Teacher Pass is designed to thank educators for the work they do with students and to make skiing easier and offer more value for teachers and their families during the ski season. The game-changing pass is a first of its kind in the industry as it is the first discounted season pass that has been offered exclusively for today’s educators. The Resort is offering the Teacher Pass online starting today in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, which runs May 6-10, 2019.
“When we introduced The Teacher Pass last year, we saw a huge interest from educators from all over, and we knew we needed to bring it back this year. With school ending soon many parents are looking for End of the Year Teacher’s gifts, and additionally since this week is Teacher Appreciation Week we thought we’d offer the Pass earlier this year,” explained Greg Ralph, Director of Marketing, Angel Fire Resort.
With no blackout dates, the flexibility means school teachers can use The Teacher Pass to travel on holidays or whenever it’s most convenient for them. The Pass pays for itself after just two days of skiing, making it cost-affordable for any teacher who skis weekends or can only make it up for a few days over Christmas or Spring Break.
The Pass special introductory price is being offered for $99 starting now through September 6, 2019. The regular price for The Teacher Pass is $199. Angel Fire Resort’s winter season is December 13, 2019 – March 22, 2020.
“We pride ourselves on being one of the most family-friendly resorts in the Rockies. Along with focusing on the kids who come to ski our mountains we also want to encourage the passion for the sport of skiing and snowboarding to those who are doing so much for these students,” Ralph added.
While The Teacher Pass can be purchased online starting May 6, teachers will need to present their ID and a current pay stub from a school anywhere in the country to validate the pass on their first day of use. Additionally, The Teacher Pass can be purchased at the ticket window once the ski season has started. The Teacher Pass is not eligible to be a part of The Powder Alliance Pass program.
The Teacher Pass goes on sale Monday, May 6 and will be offered at this special introductory price through September 6, 2019.
