Expedition to Antarctica Hopes to Prove Once and For All That the Earth is Flat

A growing community of theorists who believe the world is actually flat is organizing conventions, cruises, a planned television series, and future expeditions to uncover what they believe are the hidden truths and mysteries of the world, reports Forbes.

Flat Earth believer Robbie Davidson is interested in trekking across Antarctica to confirm the flat earth theory and hopes he will be the first to reach ‘the wall’.

“I am that guy that will make it to the edge,” he told Forbes.

Davidson is also organizing a cruise in 2020 for Flat Earthers to convene and discuss theories while continuing his popular yearly conventions around the country. His take on Antarctica is fueled by what he calls real exact science.

“When we look at Antarctica if you take a globe and you squish it down, the Antarctic would go all the way around the Earth. It’s kind of like an ice shore and its very very large. It’s not like you just go there, and you can just peek over it. We don’t believe anything can fall off the edge, because a big portion of the flat earth community believe that we’re in a dome, like a snow globe. So the sun, moon, and stars are all inside. It’s very high but all contained inside. So there’s no way to actually fall off of the earth.”

According to another Flat Earther, Jay Decasby, it should be fairly simple to prove the flat earth theory and put to bed the long-held belief that the earth is in fact spherical:

“All we have to do to shut this debate down once and for all is get the distance of the coast of Antarctica. If we can get to the coast of Antarctica and sail all the way around it, we will get the distance that will prove it’s the outer edges of a flat earth and refute entirely every single argument anyone can possibly try to pitch for the sun-worshipping cult of heliocentrism.”

Many flat Earthers feel that Antarctica is impenetrable and that the UN Antarctic Treaty of 1961 will not allow any private exploration to happen there, citing the fact that motorized vehicles are banned from the continent as proof that something is being hidden from us.

    1. I fly regularly for my job, so yes. Tell me what curvature you’ve witnessed on an airplane? Your own globe earther community can back up the fact that there is none. The altitude isn’t high enough to witness based on your guys’ own math. There isn’t any visiible curvature on a mountain peak either (if it did exist). We pay very close attention to the sun, moon, and stars… uh.. hence the questioning of the model??? ***crickets***

  1. Proof that there really are stupider people than Donald Trump, he would be the first person to say fake news that the world is round. These are the people Donald Trump wants to vote for him . The education system failed these people.

    1. How ironic…you said the truth in the second part. Yes, the education failed to condition and indoctrinate some into believing we are living on a spinning ball.

    2. Stupider? Ok, “I am smarter than you” Lol. You then take it to Trump? Even more absurd… The education system indoctrinated you and it shows. Keep voting for your overlords – I’ll grab my popcorn and watch the s*** show that is the 2020 Selections. Trump vs Biden… Who cares.

    3. Donald is not stupid – people who follow Bill and Melinda believe in global warming hahahaha and — yet the richest man alive believes it as well as our own bejing biden !!! — Gates is the one pushing depopulation and vaccines — but you will believe him huh????
