After A-Basin closes down its 7-day a week operations as originally planned on June 2, the resort will re-open for at least one more long weekend, from June 7-9. And conditions permitting, they may open for further weekends after that.
A-Basin spokeswoman Katherine Fuller said there is currently no timeframe for when a subsequent announcement about staying open past June 9 will be made, reports Summit Daily. A-Basin’s terrain is currently 82% open, with everything from beginner to expert terrain available. All lifts are still turning and winter snow conditions can be found high up.
Twenty miles away, Breckenridge Ski Resort has similar snow conditions but plans to stick with their Memorial Day holiday May 27 closing date. Winter Park Resort ended their season on Sunday 12th.
